The Great Synagogue in Dohány Street is a architectural masterpiece and the biggest synagogue in Europe. Built in mid 19 th century in Moorish style inspired by models from North Africa. This huge synagogue can seat 3000 people and also houses a jewish museum in an adjacent building.
In the rear courtyeard there is a memorial park dedicated to the Swedish hero Raul Wallenberg.
